Sims 3 worth it?

Frankly speaking you need not buy sims3 if you do have sims 2 but if you really wanna check it out try downloading the game from some place

I think it is fun but I haven't really looked into it, but I bet if you enjoy these games you will always enjoy the newer ones. It is ages since I looked at the second one but I know there are things that make the third one hard and confusing, but obviously there will be improvements too.
If you aren't sure then google it a bit more and see reviews before you decide..

The only thing I can recommend is to make sure you have a DVD rom drive on your computer or laptop. The sims 3 is a DVD rom and not a CD rom like the others were. It's just one dvd as the dvd holds more space. I got this for my birthday, but had to take it back because of it not working on our computer! so be careful! other then that, visit sims3.ea.com to play snippets of games that are fun and somewhat show you what you can do with the sims 3 game, that and visit a site like youtube to check out what to expect!

I have Sims 3 & I love it. You can visit your neighbors house(go inside & everything) & you also go all the way to work(if not inside the building itself). There are many places to visit...the park, museums, etc. etc. Also your Sim gets to fish & plant a garden...whatever you catch or grow you then sell at the local market. I think it's a lot of fun.
