Are you staying alone with your wife or is it an extended family.

I have stayed with my mother and father from my birth. Even after marriage we did not go seperately and stayed with my parents. After the death of my father, my mother is staying with me.My daughter who is married, stays with her husband and her mother in law. I know in western countries, there is no joint family system. The parents and the children stay seprately. How about you?

man are always lucky they get to be with their parents, for woman it is different we will leave of family once we are married ..
anyways .. both me and husband are working in the city, so we are staying away, thank god sometimes as i have 2 sister in law not married and 2 brother in law not married .. n my MIL was the one opposed our marriage in the first place ..

Taken from a woman view point, what you say, makes real sense. After staying with the parents for many years, suddenly you are thrown into an alien envroirment. Unfortunately the Indian culture is like that.
Of course since your MIL was opposed to your marriage, life would not have been very pleasant in that house hold
. Then with 2 unmarried sister in laws,well I have to agree, that life would have been very, very..... uncomfortable
