I'm very affectionate to my mother and father. Can't stay one day without them. I feel the same in the case of my brother. He is also affectionate to both of them. In general, who is more affectionate to their parents girls or guys?

I am more expressive to my parents and is very public in showing y emotions by being affectionate, caring and understanding. while my male brother is not fond of showing emotion through services but he show his concern when he shares his money and do the repair in the house. i think girls are more showy of their feelings..

I think every child is close with their parents and they think them as somebody special in their life. So there is nothing like girls are more affectionate and not guys.
In India women seem to be more affectionate because after marriage their access to their parents is limited post marriage as they have new responsibilities and priorities. But for men they hang around with their parent even after marriage - so they do not miss them - this is what i think about it.
