| Help protect endangered sea turtles in Costa Rica  | | | |  During the last 20 years, 90% of the Pacific Ocean leatherback turtle population disappeared. One of their last refuges is Las Baulas National Marine Park from Costa Rica, where the turtles (only 1000 left) come to lay their eggs. Their fate is to be decided by the Costa Rican government, who is debating either to maintain national park status for Las Baulas or not. Needless to say the downgrading of this area from its present status would be the doom of the leatherback turtles. 
You can send a message to the Costa Rican government, asking them to think this action very carefully, as they have the fate of this species in their hands. Please do so - it only takes 2 minutes of your time!
