Just use the Personal Account if you only need the account for normal send and receive money. Premier Account is more to business as it allow the user to receive recurring payment like from a business store. Premier Account has more fees compared to Personal Account. If you don't like the account, you can upgrade or downgrade the account later on.

Other than Mylot, pay pal is widely used for receive money from other PTC site, If you have join any. And also if you join some paid post web site, they will pay you via pay pal too.
For me, I normally used my pay pal money to buy shop online. Some times I will withdraw to my debit card too.

Paypal is very useful if you're sending and receiving money from anywhere. You can buy stuff online or receive payments for online jobs. I would suggest getting the Personal Account first if you're just basically buying stuff online or getting paid online. You can upgrade to the Premier or Business Account if you plan to open a business over the Internet. Hi Grace, I think you are very confused over this Paypal thing. Since you are already with Paypal premier, just leave it as that. Basically, 2 types of account. Personal and Business. Personal means normal but not verified which means there is a limit of withdrawal. I think its $2000. On reaching this limit, you need to have your personal acct. verified. To be verified, you must have a credit card or debit card will also do. After verified, it becomes Personal premier. It is actually a business account under your own name. No limits, withdraw any amount. Second account is Business for those who wants to register under a business name or company name. Similar to Personal Premier but not under own name. I have also Alertpay account and Liberty Reserve account. Alertpay is like Paypal. Some sites such as PTC require you to have Alertpay. Alertpay is very strict, everybody must get it verified, if not you cannot withdraw, but also quite popular. To get verified for Alertpay is very tedious. eGold and Liberty reserve uses your money in your account in the form of real gold value and not in US dollars. You can exchange this to US dollars, Malaysian ringgit, Philipine pesos, etc. like a money exchange. Fees are higher but you can sell your "gold" with any exchange or banks who trade in eGold and Liberty Reserve. Don't need to apply for Liberty Reserve or eGold. Many sites don't use it.
