Do you have a favorite baseball player..?

I really enjoy baseball and am a cub fan.. My favorite player is the cub's pitcher "Carlos Zembrano" who hit 6 homers and did very well in the era field as well..
Baseball is not just for boys you know;)+
So who, if any, is your favorite player in the game of baseball?

Why on earth would you like anyone from the cubs. I lived in Chicago, I experienced what real baseball is by watching the White Sox for 2 years. I love Crede, Perzinski, Dye, Thome, ok ok so I can't just pick one. Zembrano wears his emotions on his sleeve. He needs to keep himself in better control. But its a free country, like who you like but look into those Cubs. They are not a "real" chicago team. They are owned by WGN and all they care about is making money, not bringing Chicago a Championship!

You have very strong opinions and can see he white sox streak running through your whole comment..but there is nothing to compare with the cubfans..I love them ..always have..win or lose..just love those players..they are not owned by wgn..
They had a championship before a long time back..and before the white sox got theirs it was quite a while for thme too..
now let's clean up the dust here ..and play ball!!LOL +

You have such a negative energy running through your lines..My topic never said the cubs would win the series..It asked who your favorite player is..which you failed to see?Cub fans are fans regardless and even if you say they suck..that doesn't mean they do ..You really shouldn't be so harsh on them.I am sure if someone put a bat in your hands your ball wouldn't go to far either..
Baseball is fun..why people put more into it..I don't know;)+

I answerd your question. I named a couple players and then said I couldn't choose just one. Like the Cubs is a fad or "the cool thing to do" like being a follower. Why do you like the cubs? What about them is so great? Why would you like a team when you kown they are always going to lose? We are talking sports here, get an attitude, be passinate. Come on feel it! Where do you live? Have you ever been to Wrigley feild or even to Chicago. If you would go there you would realize that real baseball is played 7 miles south of
Wrigley. And I do play, softball that is and I am good thank you ver much, but I am not being paid big bucks to play ball, they are so they should be better then they are!

I am a Yankees fan and my favorite player on their team is Jorge Posada. I have liked him since the first time I saw him play. I can't really explain why I like him, I just do lol.

I don't know to much about Yankees only that they had in the past done well..I believe they kept their manager didn't they..there was talk of replacing him after they didn't make it to the Series.
I don't recall Jorge butI think Jeeter is pretty cool..on their team;)

Scary..how come you find that baseball is scary..Do you mean when both teams get into a fight? Or is it when the ball comes flying your way and you have no way to catch it..or worse..the bat comes flying? Why do you think it's scarey at times?+
