Human Cloning. Does it diminish God?

Hi stevelvis, I probably don't believe as you do but I don't think that it's possible for anything to diminish God. I have often wondered about human cloning but like other things, there has to be a reason for it. There is no way that man can comprehend God or know what the future holds. Blessings.

There is one flaw in your premise.

Create humans? Create life?
These terms can be used ONLY if scientists start with NOTHING and create life.
When they start with what God created, they are NOT creating.

God created life "ex nihilo" - out of nothing.
Let scientists start the same way and see how far they get.

Diminish God? Never!

Hmmmm. It makes me wonder about the passage in the Bible that goes something like this: "As in the days of Noah, so shall the last days be." It makes me wonder just how far that civilization went and all the things they were doing. In the meantime, I think this is the most exciting age to have ever lived in human history.

I'm a believer that God is the source of life.He is all knowing, giving and forgiving. Breakthroughs in science is one proof of the depth of his love for us allowing people to realize their potentialities.However no matter what we discover the fact remains that only GOD is the ultimate source of everything because in even in cloning the original material is made by GOD.

I don’t know whether God has given any permission to create life or not but if God is indeed there then He has given us brains to use to the optimum and we are doing just that. However, I am not in favour of cloning as because I have not yet understood its complete impact or necessity. Variety we say is the spice of life and having everybody around us in perfect conditions … no disease, no genetic aberrations, no abnormalities…well, I really don’t know how good that would do to human civilization collectively.
On a personal level…I would never like to have another ME walking around

There is no real proof that any god has ever had any effect on the endeavours of man. We are under the effects of natural evolution, which includes the way we behave in all respects.

I did read a story about scientist wanting to prove to God that they could create life. When they went to pick up the dirt to start their project God told them to get their own dirt. As for myself, my wife says I am just like my mother and I think that is true in any family that has children, especially if they have several. One of them is going to turn out just like one of the parents without scientist interference. I haven't really followed the cloning of animals but it seems like they don't live all that long. Do you know how long these animals have lived? When scientist start fool with what God has already made things seem to go wrong.

Worry! Worry! Worry!!! This has all been figured into the mix since before the Earth existed. Man will use cloning for replacement body parts. Why do you think all those mechanical hearts man made do not work? We will learn to fix it right. A cloned heart fits perfect, works perfect, has no rejection>>>>IT'S PERFECT!! Now somebody says: What if they clone people?? Worry! worry! worry! Are identical twins exactly alike????? Aren't their DNA the same????? One thing would happen. If man had mass cloning with large numbers being cloned, God would send a plague!!!! Did you ask to punish us?????? NO! NO! NO! Simply to teach us the need for diversity. Diversity makes us all stronger. So relax, A much smarter Being has this all figured out eons ago.
