Australians have 80 names for underwear.A poll to discover the most popular term down under for undies found that more than 80 existed.
Whats in a name of an underwear?hahaha....why so many different names from a single culture of people?Is there any reason for this?

Yep, we are pretty strange down here in Australia...LOL
I have myself heard and used the terms, Bog Catchers, Budgie Smugglers and Reg Grundies before, but I have never heard until now the terms Fart Filters and Banana Hammock! I like them, they are hilarious!!!
Reg Grundy was a famous person in the early years of Australian television and his name Grundy rhymes with Undie, so that is where that one comes from!
The others above are pretty self explanatory I feel, but if you do not understand them, then I am willing to help!

Reg Grundies was the one which came on top....some of the others are Bog Catchers , Budgie Smugglers , Banana Hammock & the best of them Fart Filters

Hello krupesh. It is really interesting that there are so many names for underwear by Aussies. I did not know that, but I would be very interested to know some from you.
