How do you earn points without having to buy anything? I have been posting on viewpoints. How do you know how many points you have earned?

I don't know what viewpoints is, but I've been with MyPoints for awhile. I haven't bought anything yet, but whenever I'm looking to order something, I check there first. I earn most of my points just by reading emails. I haven't earned enough to get a gift card or anything yet. I'm about half way to a $10.00 Walmart gift card.

I am not a member at viewpoints but I am a member at mypoints. You can earn giftcards on there without having to shop. The first giftcard that I earned was earned solely by doing other things and not shopping. I main thing that I do to earn points is to take surveys. I also read emails. Another great way to earn points is to print and use the coupons on their site.
