Just Lost my best friend because of a mistake i made?

Sorry to hear that you lost your best friend. But if you've already tried to apologize to him and he doesn't want to accept your apology, it's probably best to back off and allow him time to come to terms with what has happened on his own. If you were a great friend to him, he will realize it sooner or later. Then hopefully he will come back to you and want to be friends again. So just give it a rest for now, spend time doing things that you enjoy and try to go out and meet some other people. I mean it's nice having a best friend but there are hundreds of thousands and literally billions or people in the world, so you can't waste too much time over one that isn't happy with you. take care and wishing you all the best. i honestly think that he does not have the makings of best friend... If he truly is your best friend, why would he spill bad rumors about you? this is the discomfort of having a best friend, if your relationship gets ill, he becomes your worst enemy.

You already tried to make peace with him and yet he still does not accept. Then forget about him. Dont worry... there are many people there who can give good advices aside from him. True relationships persevere thru thick or thin. At this point in time, it is thin or it could also be that he just needed time to mend forgive and forget about it.
