Are you cleverer than your friends , neighbours etc.etc.?

This is quite judgmental krupesh. I don't know my neighbors and other colleagues so i won't sum it up like this. I think someone could be clever than i am and i could be more clever than someone too. It would all just depend on our specialty and talents. Anyway, could you site some instances that you are more clever than them?

Hi cleverone, I'd latch on to u. :) I wouldnt have to do any thinking myself, would I? :) No - I am not clever. In fact, I often consider myself to be a retard. I do use that word for me. Imagine what i can use on others. :) I dont understand simple instructions, and I get confused very easily. But I do come to conclusions, I do think a lot, provided I have time for it. I believe I can rationalize and come to correct conclusions. It may not be the best solution, but it certainly wont be the worst. So I guess, u could say I am an average person. I think my friends are brilliant. And because they are there for me, my flaws get covered. :) My neighbors after I grew up have been folks who felt protective towards me. I guess I took advantage of their protective natures, so I am cleverer! he he. No. They were angels, and I am still friends with them. They still treat me like a kid, and I thank god for them. I do not feel bad when people treat me like kid, because they keep doing things while I keep watching television. :) I'll leave it to u to decide whether I am clever or not. :)

I don't know if I am more clever or not. It's not something that is important for me to know. Oh sure, there are some people that I don't like and I think they are stupid and that I am way smarter than they are but it's always people that I don't like that I think that about. And it is not often either. I don't know, like I said, it's just not that important to me for me to think that I might be smarter than someone else.

Dont think i am patting my own back ANd this is not my personal opinion. Friends have themselves said many times that am shrewed and that i am capable of acheiveing more than i have in my life. They hold me in high esteem and seek my guidance on many things. I love this confidence they have in me

Yea, i used to think I'm smarter than my friends, and people around me. Not only academically, but also in handling and looking at daily problem, love problem. I used to say 'I can't understand how you can think/do that', I just don't understand why they never used their brain before taking any action, and involved in lot of troubles. Until one day, I'm the one that in big problem, and that is my very first time. I might smarter than my friend academically, but come to daily situation and its problem, most of the time it is the circumstances that influence us not to act wisely. What i want to say is, until we are really in people's shoes, and we really act wisely compare with our friends, than only i will say I'm smarter and cleverer than my friends. Since that day, i never say 'I just don't understand why..', i just scared this question will get back to me and help me answering 'why', and when it happened, means that I'm in deep big problem. sigh..

Not every human knows everything. Each one will be good in something or the other. All of us our talented in some aspect, so we cannot under estimate another person. Sometime people around us may sound a bit dumb, it doesn't mean they are not clever. It means that they are not comfortable with that topic. So its a matter of understanding and not estimating... :)

I am definitely smarter than most of the people around me.I am tired of the advices and solutions given by people,press and media.In my experience I have come to know that we are the better judge of the circumstances and our expertise and smartness is the ultimate tools that get things done for us.

I have the confidence to say I am clever in my field.So,friends and relatives will ask my suggestions related to my field before taking a decision.At the same time,I don't hesitate to ask any guidance on any other field which I am not familiar with.I think all will be clever in their own fields.Cheers!

I have many friends who are cleverer than me, but when it comes to neighbours I think I am bit cleverer than they are as I win in different conflicts that arise between us as I do not have co operative neighbours.
