Why only users having rating more than 500 can paste in mylot discussion?

Well the answer to your first question is you don't have to have a 500 rating to copy and paste, you just need to have 500 posts to copy and paste. Guess what, your post count is exactly 500 so you are now able to copy and paste!=) If it doesn't work straight away, sign out and then in again, and if still not, give it a couple of hours. But it should already work.

The reason mylot can not activate this feature to all members once they join is because of SPAMMERS. People will create multiple accounts and spam mylot, and just copy and paste. When you have 500 posts, it's kind of different, cause you won't really go to all the effort to make 500 posts just to do a dumb spam thing.

Guess it is a benefit for thoese who hard work hard in mylot lol a small prilvedge given to thoese old members yea .

The star that has the letter 8 in it is your rating here at mylot. 10 is the highest it can be, 1 is the lowest. Your rating will increase when people rate your discussions and responses positivly. To the right of your discussions/responses are 3 symbols (+ -!) Just put your mouse over them (dont click) to see what they are for.

the (501) is how many discussions and responses you have posted here at mylot. Stay active here and that number will increase! post post post!:) And when you reach 1,000 posts you will be able to add pictures to your discussions AND responses, so keep going!:)

The reason that you have to have at least 500 posts here because mylot is trying to avoid a ton of spamming...they dont want new users who don't understand the Mylot rules to copy and paste a bunch of stuff to get more money.
