I am from the Philippines and I am planning another trip this summer. I plan to travel Singapore and Malaysia. I am from the Philippines and Visa is not needed, I suppose. .. My concerns are what other travel papers do I need to bring (other than my passport) if I cross the Singapore-Malasia border and what what about my three year old daughter, what documents are needed for her travel. Please enlighten me regarding these issues. Thanks in advance. Have a nice day. Enjoy Mylotting.

You don't need any travel documents to cross the Singapore-Malaysian border... except for your passport which they will inspect... but there are times that they don't really even bother... We Asians are allowed to stay in other asian countries, i think up to 15 days... Singapore and Malaysia has that policy...

What bothers me actually is regarding my daughter's travel papers because I won't be travelling with my husband. Only me, my baby and my sisters will be with me during this travel. Do I need clearance from the DSWD?

You don't need any papers from DSWD because you are the mother of the child... just bring a copy or her original birth certificate...

I imagine that you will need a passport for you. Is your daughter included in your passport? If not she will probably need her own passport. I love it in Singapore and Malaysia. Sometimes when traveling without your child's father you will need a letter of permission from him. I hope that you will have an excellent trip.
