I have used all of these to develop CMS sites in the last few years, but lately I've been using WordPress almost exclusively.

If you're installing the CMS package yourself, Joomia and Wordpress are the best choices, as Drupal can be a little complicated.

A simple site in WordPress is easy to set up, even for novices, while Joomia requires more technical knowledge. Drupal's site setup interface is a challenge.

WordPress has more of a choice of free quality themes than either Joomia or Drupal, and there are hundreds of online tutorials for editing existing themes or creating custom themes.

Joomia has more of a learning curve when adding themes and increasing functionality. Drupal is even more difficult to learn.

WordPress administrative tools are also easier to use than those of either Joomia or Drupal. However, with a third-party addon, Drupal's page editing tools are the simplest.

Drupal excels when it comes to creating interactive community sites. Flexibility of page structure is the only area in which WordPress is weaker than the other two. However, with special CMS themes, this weakness can be overcome by offering a variety of content types.

I have found the WordPress community to be superior in providing support, plugins, and themes.

you had a great experience with all of these thats interesting and valuable information you have given. As you said Drupal is challenge and other also seems to be good one. so how many year experience you gained with this? do you working or own a company? guide me on development with this.

Thanks for the comments

I've owned my own creative services company since 1991 and have been developing Web sites professionally for over 14 years. I'm more of a designer than a programmer, although I've learned a lot over the years. I've also been offering hosting services for about seven years. Since I'm almost 64, I've been cutting back on my work since it's getting harder to keep up with this quickly evolving industry.

From a programmer's prospective, I think WordPress is the most flexible and easy to learn and use. WordPress is not as secure as some of the others, but that can all be patched with a few add-ons and plugins. I like the fact that add-ons and plugins are free and can be used and modified to do what you want them to do.

Sometimes I even develop a full website with WordPress and use the blogging function as just a simple and easy way to update pages.
