Musicals... Do you still love to wacth musicals?  

I think the musical you're thinking of with Olivia Newton John and Travolta was Grease. I go way back to watching musicals...like the old classics like Oklahoma, South Pacific, Meet Me In St. Louis..these are real old-timers..LOL. Then of course their was Jesus Christ, Superstar, Hair and Godspell all of which not only saw the movies, but in the theater as well. I haven't been to the theater in ages to see a live musical performance--tickets are way to high...would have loved seeing The Lion King, Phantom of the Opera....and of course, would have loved seeing...Cats

Heh, can't say I'm a fan of musicals at all. Though I was quite fond of that Chicago remake of some years ago, but it might have just been the cast. I can't help but find musicals cheesy and rather campy whenever watching them, meh.

I watch a lot of musicals. The Phantom of the Opera and Sweeney Todd are the contemporary musicals of our time. I have seen the Grease and it was also thrilling and all-happy movie. It had a remake entitled hairspray. It's not totally the same but the idea is almost like it. John Travolta is there too disguised as a mother to the girl *forgot the name*. High School Musical is a teen-flick romantic movie for the teens that caught a lot of attention from the viewers, there's actually a new one from nickelodeon but Zac's way more handsome than the star of "Spectacular" *there, i said it*.

I have to say Grease 1 and 2 and mamma mia are my favorite musicals. I dont care for highschool musical think its compltey dumb and dont care for the music. I love mamma mia because its funny and I love abba love pretty much every song in that movie and grease like the whole gangster thing and love the music to. That was the first musical I ever saw.
