NO, because I never really experienced people asking me for help sice am not part of their friends inner circle. I don't mind if they stop behaving like one, people change and when ever i meet up new people i am just like a third rate or third degree friends to them.

If they are your friends, remember that you are their friends too.I don't think to drop your friends is a good idea. The other friends will drop you too if you do this, because they may think you are not reliable.
In my opinion, you can talk to your friends and try to help them when they don't behave like friends any more.No matter what they have done, they are still your friends if they would like to change their behave after you help them.So why not give your hands to them? But the most important, you have to protect youself first.
