Do you use public transportation? What are your reasons for using (or not using)  |

 Howdy!
I ride the public busses in the city where I live because: 1. I have no car. 2. It is cheaper than paying for gasoline if I did have a car. 3. It is better for the environment. 4. I get to meet and interact with interesting people while traveling to and from my destinations.
What are your thoughts on the subject?

I don't really like the public transport though.. waiting time is wayyyy too long, and the buses get really crowded during peak hours.

2.  DeenaD (2184) | 4 years ago |  I don't use public transportation because I live in a rural environment, and there is no public transportation here! You have to have a car to live in the country. To me, the country is lots of space and lots of green, and a car is freedom. I wouldn't have it any other way.

| 4. juicemilk (1657) | 4 years ago |  I use buses and trains, I don't have a licence let alone a car. It's usually easier to use public transport, don't get caught in traffic as much and I agree its cheaper, because if I had a car then I would be paying for petrol and insurance etc

So once in the morning to work and once home thats $4 a day or if you by a pass its 65 for a month but buses are always going on strike here so its not worth it. $60 gas would last me the month around town

| 7. bhchy1 (5747) | 4 years ago |  No I don't...mostly because there is no public transportation where I live...there is about 200 people living in this area...even the the nearby town where I work has no public transportation and they have about 14,000 people..If you don't have a car here you are sunk...and better if you have 4 wheel drive...

Besides, you don't have to inhale smoke of the vehicles when you travel by railways. Its much more comfortable for me. | |

I use it for the days when I have work. Cant use it in the night though because it all stops at midnight.
