wierdest fears

what is the wierdest or strangest or funniest fear that you have ever heard of? I was watching the Maury show, and they had a special episode with wierd fears. I would have to say the wierdest to me would have to be the woman who was afraid of cotton balls. She said the "sound" of the cotton balls drove her crazy, and she dreams of a "cotton man" whos trying to get her. So what is the craziest fear(s) that you have ever heard of?

The weirdest fear I every heard of, is the one you just mentioned.
That is really weird.
Though I think when you are really afraid of the cotton man, it could be very stressful.
I hope I don't see him. hahaha!
I did not know a cotton ball could have sound. I mean , I did not think a person could hear a cotton ball . I really think this is weird.

I went to junior high and high school with a girl who was afraid of talking on the phone. We kept in contact even when we both went to college...although not by phone. She won't call people, she won't answer the phone. She doesn't live alone, so she doesn't have to answer the phone. Since we communicate by e-mail, I haven't seen her in years. I have no idea how she gets along without talking on the phone. I mean, what about doctor appointments, emergencies?
