More caffeine in tea? True or false? | | I know that there is caffeine in tea as well as coffee but somebody once suggested to me, I think incorrectly, that there is even more caffeine in te than coffee. Anybody know whether this is true or not?

| TomAustin (15) | 3 months ago | According to wilstar.com, coffeetea.about.com and stashtea.com, mrinali is correct. Coffee has anywhere between 80 and 115 mg of caffeine per serving, while black tea (which has the most caffeine of the types of tea) has about 40 mg, although wilstar.com reports that the average imported tea has about 60 mg, with American brands containing around 40. Interestingly, even decaffeinated tea has some caffeine, usually about the same amount as a bar of milk chocolate (6 mg).
