Do the people That have psychically and mentally abuse?

The people who have suffered psychological and physical abuse will react differently based on the person, duration, and severity of the abuse. If the abuse was particularly bad the person could develop Post Traumatic Stress Disorder which would take years of therapy to correct. It is extremely difficult to gauge whether or not an abuser is truly remorseful. Sometimes certain people enjoy inflicting pain on others, they have their own psychiatric problems such as personality disorders, other times they could in fact feel extreme remorse.
