What kind of camera do you have and what type of pics do you like to make ???

Hello all!

I'm new here so i thought of starting something. I'm a hobby photographer and love to take pictures. I bet there are thousands here who share my interest :) So lets talk about what you guys like about photography and you actually started it... :)

I started off with a Sony T-33 about 5 years ago. I would take lots of pics and really lots of them. I would go everywhere with my camera. I would go out for walks with my camera and take pics here and there of trees, flowers, insects, roads and everything possible. I learned a lot of stuff with that cam. The basics like angle, framing, light control, background and so on...

When i came to Germany about 3 years ago, i bought me a Pentax DSLR and jumped in the real fun. Wow, it is fun. I have done party pics, landscapes, portriats, some weddings and so on. Now, i like doing landscapesl, portraits and some art stuff. Its real fun.

I would like to hear your story also..

You have a great cam. happy I loved photography too.But I cannot afford of buying a professional one.It is kind of expensive.So for now, I am only enjoying my Canon Powershot.It makes me happy using it because however, I can use macros and take pictures of little insects.lol lol I loved taking pictures of flowers too and nature.Hopefully I can buy a professional one someday and take a step closer into photography.

Well u can always buy a used one.. nowadays theres a huge market to buy from.. i would suggest u get a used DSLR, a 6MP is alot.. remember megapixel count is not the quality of the picture.. when u use a DSLR, u'll know what i mean.. if u need help chosing one, let me know.. Happy Shooting :)

I always think that the higher the MP, the best is the quality of the picture.I am not sure we have used DLSR in any markets here.Not unless you have known someone personally who wants to sell their used cams.I have not checked on the net yet.What do you think is the best?And how much does it cost?

megapixel count is only the number of pixels on ur cam's sensor. SO it makes ur picture look bigger. Basic electronic theory says that keeping the sensor size fixed, while increasing the pixel count, the picture quality will drop. there are more than just MP to be taken into account for a quality camera. what country do u live in? look in ebay, u will find definitely something there...

Im lived in the Philippines.I did not know much about pixel count and how it affects the quality of a picture.Thanks for that info.I have not tried purchasing on ebay yet.I'll check over the site. So are you a professional photographer?

Welcome :) im a hobby photgrapher, actually i wanted to go pro, but i need to invest alot of time and money. Im a full time engineer, married also and thus time seems to be at scarcity mostly.. But i like to study the technical part of anything, so i did my reserch on cams.. Now i'm interested in buy an HD videocam and i've started my research, lets see what i buy :) Happy Shooting :)

What kind of engineer are you?I worked full time too as a designer but I really loved photography.Actually I am planning of having my own studio someday.But only a plan.

Hi! i'm an electronics and communications engineer. I do hardware programming.. i used to do loads of photography when i was still a student. I wanted a studio in my apartment also but nowi dont have space... it would be fun really :) i found loads of studio stuff on ebay.. With brains one can make his own studio really cheap.. :) its really easy..
