Who is your role model and why?

My parents are my role model and ever step I take in life I keep in mind their wishes and teachings,and then success is all mine:D

Hi dolmitta for me I don't know who my 'role' model really is as my childhood wasn't good and nether my teenage years, during those times there wasn't a role model in my life really, I had to grow up quickly so guess the only person who has been mine is me!..LoLo

My mum is definatly my role model. My parents got divorced when I was 10 and I have 2 older brothers. She did a great job of bringing us up on her own. I am now on my own with my three kids and often use my mum as an example and look to her for advice and help. She is there for me when I need her and I hope I will be around for when my kids need me most!

Hi dolmitta without trying to sound arrogant, I have to admit that I don't have any particular role model although there are so many people that I admire very much. I admired my father very much and I have inherited many of his characteristics while I have got most of my mother's genes (naturally) too. But I am my own person and my character is a mix of many I guess where I can get very angry one minute and be extremly kind and generous the next minute. I can never hold a grudge for more than a minute but at the same time I'm very careful about whom I get close to. I'll go out of the way to do things for those I care about but can't abide deceit and hypocracy. I am most of the time a very lazy person, but when I put my mind to doing something, I'll not stop until I have completed it successfully. I would have loved to be someone like Mother Theresa, but God has not given me that kind of absolute unselfish character. So here I am, neither very good or very bad and that's completely me, and not a role I have fashioned on any other person I know.
