Ok, I had to get this one out there...it is one of my favorite topics in the Bible.
In Genesis 6, the first time it mentions the Nephilim, it says that the sons of God came unto the beautiful daughters of men, and the bore them giants...
I know there are those out there who discredit this and say that the sons of God refers to the righteous men of that day and age. THIS IS NOT CORRECT!!! The sons of God spoken of in this passage is very clearly refering to actual angels, in this instance, fallen angels. In Job 1 and 2, it says that God met with the sons of God, and Satan also was there. When God asked Satan where he had been, he replied, "from roaming to and fro throughout the earth" This is a communion of angels that these passages speak of, and Satan, previously an angel of light is in their midst. Clearly, the sons of God spoken of in Genesis are the same as the sons of God in Job. So, now we have angels, spiritual beings interbreeding with humans? Some people say that's not possible. I have heard several people say that angels can't have human physical relations. NOT TRUE!!! When three angels visited Abraham, they appeared as men, and ate and drank with Abraham. Understand, if they can eat or drink human food, they can most definitely perform every other feat that a human can perform. Check out youTube sometime, and search for "nephilim", and you will find an abundance of information on this topic.
Here's another question for you...if Satan has been cast down to roam around the earth, where does he reside? We know demons are everywhere, but where is Satan himself? The Devil and unclean spirits won't be in hell until after the millenium reign of God, so he's obviously on earth right now. but where???
I know you have some comments on this article, so post away!Dive Deep!

I do believe that the Nephilim is the offspring of the daughters of men and angels. Different texts in the bible prove that angels are called "the sons of God," like in the book of Job. The apocryphal book of Enoch also proved it. Even today, I do believe that the so-called "alien phenomenon" and "ufo's" were really one of Satan's deception against man today because he knows that his time is short. I believe this "aliens" are none other than "demons" or "fallen angels" as there are similarities between the alien abductions and demons abduction during the middle ages. I have read an online account of one alien abduction about a man in Brazil. He said he was abducted by ufo in front of his house. Inside the vehicle, he saw dirts everywhere and some alien beings poking needle-like object upon him as if they're experimenting on him. He was terrified and uttered a short prayer. The aliens told him, "now, you have spoiled everything." Immediately, he saw himself back to his house. Now, if these creatures were from other planets or stars, why were they afraid of a simple prayer?
I do agree with you.

Whenever I read the Bible, I recall the parable where the man asked his servants to sow grain in his field. After some time the servants came and told the man that during night while they slept an enemy came and had planted in the field some thorns as well. They sought man's permission to root them out but the man asked them to wait. He told them that at harvest time they should reap them both. "Gather the grain into the barn and keep the thorn aside to burn," he said.
It is same with the Bible. Not everything written in the Bible is the word of God. While we glean the spiritual knowledge out of the Bible, we must also sift the grain from the chaff. How would you know what is right in the Bible, and what is wrong?
Everything in the Bible, which tells us about the redemptive plan of God for the humankind, is right. His redemptive plan includes advent of man, i.e., Adam. His scheme of things for fulfillment of that redemptive plan, i.e., the prophecy of the coming of a redeemer. Story of Noah and his Arc. The story of Abraham and his generation, their captivity in Egypt, their suffering in the desert, their slavery under Babylonians and then Romans. Finally, fulfillment of that redemptive plan, i.e., birth of Jesus and his crucifixion.
Everything else besides these are the works of Satan. The things written other than these are as weeds, Satan had sown to mislead us.
God's word in the Bible is like two edged sword. It divides those who are from God and those who are of Satan.
The words written at Genesis 6 are the work of Satan. He had sown them to misguide us. Those are not the words from God.
