What kind of encouragement did you received from your family?

what kind of encouragement did you received from your family when you were young? my family always told me i could do anythings i wanted to do if i was willing to work hard enough. Did you have a supportive family who encouraged you all the time?

I have always loved to write, my mom has supported my idea of writing since i was a teenager, when i first started, I found some old stuff that I had written year ago at her house just last week , it was so cool.. brought back alot of old memories.. She has always said one day I will write a book.. who knows... :)
