What is soul mate? Is it the same with a spouse?

Not necessarily. Because soul mate can be someone or anybody, your friend, your mother, or your siblings. You can have many soulmates in this lifetime. I heard one celebrity who used the word "twin flame" for a spouse. So I think you should call your spouse as your "twin flame." (^_^)

Well for me its my wife, she is my soulmate.

soul mate is the one that you love and you share everything, yes perhaps its your spouse sharing all your things in life. help one another, and you tell him your secrets, your dreams in life and other things you want to be in the future.

Hi mommy! I do not know the real meaning of soul mate. But before, what I know about soul mate is, he is the one who will be with you until the end of time. And like what you said, your spouse and nothing else. Well, that's what I thought until I found my best friend. I couldn't explain how much suitable are we for each other. We enjoy each other's company. Oh, words can't explain what our relationship means. You know the feeling that it seems that I will not find someone like her again. I don't think your soul mate doesn't have to be your spouse. A soul mate can be someone who completely understands you, and accepts you for who you are expecting nothing more or nothing less.
