I stay in India and two wheelers are widely being used for transportation by individuals. Literally in every house hold you can see a two wheeler. Very poor people owns a Bi-cylce. But most of the people who are living in the cities and towns own two wheelers. Not all the house holds in India owns a Car like in some of the European and American households where every households have atleast 2 cars. I have a Motorcycle/Motorbike - Passion Plus which is a make of HEROHONDA- One of the largest Motorcycles producing companies in India. It has a 100cc engine and it gives an awesome ON-ROAD Mileage of 68Kms per litre of Petrol. So friends, do you own a motor bike and what's the name of your Motorcycle/bike......

I don't own a motor cycle. I really wish a lot to buy a scooty pep. Cycling is soemthing which I tried and tried, but never learned in my life. I have to go for a class. I don't think it will be easy for me to balance a motor bike. I want to buy a pink color scootor. I am very busy at work now a days. I don't know when will I buy a scooter. I have a car.

Thanks for sharing the information for me. I will check for driving classes. I would like to find a two wheeler driving place where a woman is a trainer. Two wheelers are very good for Chenani traffic. It is very difficult to wait for public transport. My drivrer won't come on time. He has many excuses for not coming on time. Once he took leave for three days saying that he had heart attack. I think it was a lie.

Yes it goes obvious that 2 wheelers are the best for Chennai traffic. It's quite a difficult thing to drive a car and that too during peak hours where there is traffic jam everywhere. Bike is the best option as you can easily cut throught the traffics and reach your destination.

There are many driving classes in chennai where you can easily learn to ride 2 wheeler. Recently, My Aunt who is 42 years old learnt 2 wheeler driving from one of the driving institutes in Chennai. I think they train you for 3 weeks and the class span is from half an hour to 40 minutes a day.

Dear vinslounge,
I have a bajaj pulsar 150 cc and I am mainly concern with the speed. I need to travel atleast 20 kilometers from my home and it takes around 45 min and 30 min in non-peak hours... Due to the increase of bikes, the traffic reaches its peak even after 10 PM in the night. I don't check mileage mostly as my bike normally gives 50 kms/litre and its good enough for me..
Cheers... Have a nice day

Yes, PULSAR is one dream bike for every Indian guy and i really love Riding Pulsar. The recently released version Pulsar 220CC is very good and i enjoyed a happy ride in the beach road at a maximum speed of 125km/hr( beyond that I felt I was loosing control and didnt proceed further)with that bike here in Chennai. My friend owns that. Yes if speed is the priority to you, then PULSAR is the Highly recommended bike in our country.

I have a 2001 Suzuki SV650S that I ride. I love it, but I'm outgrowing it already. =(
I hope to trade up for a gixxer 600 or a Yamaha R6.
