Ever notice Mylot sponsor ads that match with your Discussion Subject

A lot of sites do this, and I love it. I can't stand seeing ads that don't pertain to anything that I'm interested in. I'm not opposed to clicking on ads that are interesting! Facebook does the same things, it takes things that I mention in my profile and my posts and matches the ads to those things. I've found a lot of great shopping sites that way, and it's a really great system!

They have a pretty sophisticated system here for advertising which I think is very interesting.

Well, I hardly notice them, I must day. Sure they're flashy and sometimes appealing to other people, but for me "an ad is an ad". So at the end of the day I don't spend even a minute thinking about them.

I have noticed that a lot of forum sites do things like that. I think it is an interesting way of attracting people to their sites. I don't mind, as long as the ads aren't too intrusive. Afterall, these people are paying the sites so they can pay us. If they can cater to our personal interests, that's great!!!
