Is the American life like this movie??

Not really. Remember, this is a MOVIE, not a documentary. Don't look to hollywood or TV to get an idea of how life here in america is, I assure you what you see is exagerated, satirical and not at all represenative of it.
Life here is very diverse. We have a number of different cultures and each state has it's own way of doing things, though some things areuniversal. If you ever make it over here to visit, tryo ti visit as many area as you can, and not just a few major cities, there is so much to see and experience here.

Life is life,Movie is movie.
but the movie comes from the life.It's the reflection of life.So I think the American graduate student's life is similar with the movies.

i think that the american life isnt like this movie, i think that nobodeys life is like that. It can be similar...but like that, i purely doubt...but look im from balkan, i realy dont nothing about american life....but pure reason sas that a life like this isnt anywhere...

No way... some facts are true and other are imaginary according to me... and not happened in any country while i am agree in college life they must do... but publicly they dont... my relative lived in America and not find any such things like movie..

It's a funny topic. In my opinion, movie is just movie. Though movie and life are something similar, I must know movie must be exaggerated. You can image that how the university will look like if the scene in the movie become true. College life should be open and diverse, but never like the what's in American Pie.
