Where were you on 9/11?

I was at work. I had just gashed my finger open on a utility knife and was on my way to the bathroom with my finger wrapped and bleeding. I had noticed that the music had stoped an all the radios and all I could here was unintelligable talking. A guy I worked with walked by and said to me, "hey1 did you hear?we're under attack, we're being bombed with our own planes as the missles!" Shortly after I was at the hospital, the nurse was bringing in regular updates for me while I was examined and stitched up. by that thime, the last plane had gone down in pensivania. I remember thinking, "this is going to change us forever". I was sent home for the day because they were concerned my wrapped and stitched finger would just get in the way and I was risking popping it open if I worked with it. I got home and my wife waas outside with a look of utter shock on her face. My neighbor's were outside talking, a few were crying. I walked numbly in to my house, cnn was on. By then the towers had alreday fallen. I looked on the tv and saw the gap wher the towers had been and my stomach lurched. I almost vomited right there. That was when the full scope of things hit me, and yes, I cried

I was just going into work when it happened... I worked at a retail store that sold T.V.s & stereos & major appliances... Of course, when I walked into work, there's routine I do... I was setting my coffee on the desk when someone from different part of the store ran upto me & asked me to turn T.V.s on... As I turned 45 display T.V.s one by one, I saw one of the tower bellowing out large amount of smoke & somebody saying something about air-plane flying into it... I thought it was an accident... People started to gather around my department, we saw another air-plane slamming into the other building... It was really quite at work that day... As the day went on, I kept getting phone calls from different departments asking me if there's any development on news...

This is going to sound pretty bad...I was on a rooftop in Jersey City, NJ when it happened. We were up all night partying and decided we wanted to go to the roof. I was standing there watching the airplane and I turned to my friends and said, "Wouldn't it be messed up if..." before I could finish my statement, the first plane hit. It was the scariest thing I ever seen and just when I thought it could not get any worse, the second plane hit. You could hear people screaming over the water..it was horrible..It's been all these years since and I haven't been back near New York...
