Hi Everybody! A few of my friend's birthdays are coming up. I plan to give them each gifts. If you're asking what gender, there are shares of both genders. I really treasure my friends but I am also planning to give some to a few acquaintances. So, do you guys have a suggestion of what gift is best given for a guy? a girl? I am in a bit of a hurry for an acquaintance's birthday too. Don't worry about the budget though but I prefer gifts that aren't too expensive since I don't want others to complain them having a cheaper gift. Any suggestions would do(Yes, even those expensive ones since I'll still think of it of an opinion especially for my friends whom I really been close to)...
I really appreciate those who would give suggestions...Thanks I mean it :)

My birthday is near too! In advance, I had myself a tour because I love traveling. For your friends, you could also order a customized cake with their picture on it. Or if you have the mini me figurine in your country that would be nice. It's the miniature figurine of you. It's pretty cool! I was planning to do it also to my friend's birthday on November.

First of all, Advance Happy Birthday :) Hope you enjoy your trip :) I guess the cake would work for my friends...but the mini me figurine really interested me. I should really check that out. Thank you very much for the suggestion :)

most people may take the birthday seriously, but perhaps due to the living environment, for me there isn't a habit to celebrate birthday. i only remember my mother would give me a boiled egg as a birthday gift in my childhood. i mean the goodwill is more important than the gift itsself.

Hello Darknessfalls,
Yeah, it is not easy to choose a gifts for friends. Sometimes what you have bought for them and they are not really into the gifts then I would say it is wasted. Or sometimes you have bought something that she already have...
For me, I suggest you ask your friends about what they like and what birthday gift they wish to receive. This happen to my friend once. I know she is a fussy one so I send a text message and telling a joke to her that I am so helpless to get what she wants. I ask if she can give me some ideas on what she likes. It isn't so embarrassed to ask her with the cell phone text message,

I am really not good at giving gifts but based on my experiences, I would rather give gifts that are useful because even if they don't like it that much, at least they would be able to use it. I also want my gifts to be treasured so I would rather give out unique and useful stuff based on the person's characteristics. ALso, if they are really your friends, they would most likely appreciate whatever you give them.

I think that making your own gifts are the best way to go! It is cheaper and you can personalize it, so it is more meaningful than buying something. if you search on the internet, you will be able to find many craft ideas, even if you have never crafted before.
