have you taken advantage of new technologies we have now

it seems there are so many new technologies gadgets and accessories for computers, tv, cameras, radio and for almost every appliances and gadgets we have in our home. but i have not taken advantage of them cause i have not much money to buy them to begin with. and so i feel that if we have the money it is really worth the money to spend on those great gadgets cause they will make our life more easy and gives us more satisfaction and can give us more service.
take for example usb stick. i was not aware we have that already though it has been in the market for years now. only recently have i bought the first USB stick . and i really was surprised that floppy disk are out now and USB stick are in and used to save datas and files and it holds more spaces to save more files and actually really small and easy to carry and last longer than those floppy disk. it is really funny that i was still using floppy disk when using USB disk is much much cheaper considering on how much files we can save on it and the kind of files we can save on it. and then i get to discover the USB hub to put more than one usb stick in one port so that we need to use an USB hub for that or like an adaptor.
thankfully i am able to try that one. i am really so ashamed of myself of being too ignorant. thankfully i have my own computer now and i get to learn more new accessories for my computers. and i am not that ignorant any more.

Ya I don't say that i have utilised all the latest technologies but I can say I can't live without computer and my cell phone.I have got used to them no no I should say that I am addicted to them.Even for seeing the time I look at my cell rather than my watch.That is how I got addicted to my cell phone.The same with my computer and internet...
Now I can't imagine my life without these things....

yeah i love my cellphone too. i love looking at the analog clock on my cellphone. really awesome. like real clock i have on my walls. with two dials also. but i just learned of this feature of analog clock on my phone few hours ago though i bought this last december. but it was just like a screen saver clock. so i must need touch any key or else the analog will disappear. and i will have digital clock on the home menu instead. but i still can see it but i need some ample lighting from my place to see it clearly the analog clock on my cellphone.

I don't think you have to be ashamed! Many people don't know how to even use a computer! In my class the other day, someone asked me how to use a mouse!
I take advantage of all the new technologies, but sometimes a little to much. It is so easy to get lost in a sea of electronics.

i don't see any disadvantage in any way of using technologies too much cause they make life better and give us more time to do more things in life specially for more important thing. technology does the hard work for us. so i think i would want to use as much as i can but only i don't think i am getting to learn more that easy or fast. i am quite slow learner in these things.

I don't think they are disadvantages, rather that sometimes we can forget to be simple. I spend so much time watching dvds, playing xbox, or surfintg the net that sometimes I forget how to do anything else. A few nights ago, we played scrabble, and it was nice to forget about all technology for a bit.

i think that kind of game are best played with real players than against computers. i too love to play those games with real people in front of me rather in front of the computer but on my place i don't have any one here i can play games with and so i always end up playing against the computer. but i rarely play now. mostly i do that when i was just still new on internet and was just exploring how to use the net and so i tried to learn the net by playing online games.
