I think it sounds like a great idea! I myself have a website, but it's not by any means professional. I'm also not trying to necessarily SELL anything. If you're looking to start by using a free website I want to suggest weebly. The website is www.weebly.com It's pretty easy to use and well free. What's better than free? You might even want to start there and then as you start to earn some money maybe buy a domain. Ooh and I also just thought of etsy. Have you ever heard of that website? It's a site people sell "homemade" things. I've seen photography sold on there before and I'm pretty sure it's free to sell on there. The website is www.etsy.com . Another good way to spread the word, even if it's just about your website is Craigslist. I use that site for so many great things (found our apartment on there and I found my two most recent jobs on there too! We've also sold a lot on craigslist.) www.craigslist.com I hope this was at least somewhat helpful!!

Yes, that certainly is one of the best ways of starting a business online. Many of my friends are doing that, and are doing very well. Some are selling products on their websites, and some are offering services such as trading representation. These are very much international. Ofcourse, it takes a while to get the website noticed in the market. But, just keep working, and one will succeed. Good luck to you !
