Scams

Hey everyone. Just Got A call the other day from someone claiming to be a worker for CRA saying it was extremely important I contact them b4 they file their paper work. I looked this company up online and found numerous reports of them trying to scam for social security numbers. Well I decide to try to call their bluff so I called them back and asked for the person that had left me the message but someone else answered and said she wasn't there but she was trying to reach me and they needed to verify that they had the right number. i said well 1st can you tell me what CRA stands for she goes i need to verify this name and addy. I said well tell ya what you tell me what CRA stands for Ill tell ya if u have the right name and addy, lol she hung up on me. No credit place or debt collector is gonna hang up on you and if u have a question they are most likely to answer it. these people are just so funny in how they operate. I wished she hadn't have hung up on me because I really wanted to mess with them some more LOL. Has anyone else had an incident with scammers that you got back at? Or know of some other scammers that people should be aware of?
