Toast is one of those all time simple meal things that can tend to get you in trouble if you're now careful! LoL ! I like my toast slightly browned on both sides, and they with a little bit of butter. Then I like blueberry or grape jam.
How do you eat your toast? Do you eat it at all?

hi hdjohnson,
I love eating toasts specially in winters. I would toast my bread and i would want it slightly crisp and want it more brown but not black (:) ) and i would put butter on one piece and Jam on the other piece and then put one on another and have it. i like it this way and if i can get omellete in breakfast and tea with this ..it is perfect breakfast for me.

I love omeletes too asweetie and I agree with your comment that toast makes the perfect compliment to them as well.

I like toasted bread when my auntie was here we used the toaster all the time and we also bought pandesal (bun) from the bakery which is so cheap and we can request for a toasted bun if we want too

Isn't amazing how the simple pleasures in life, don't cost anything at all, or at least don't cost much at all!

mmmm toast
Browned lightly on both sides then lightly buttered then honey, marmalade or jam if it's breakfast time. If it's evening then cheese or a poached or scrambled egg.
If you ask for 'toast' here in Italy you will be served with a toasted sandwich usually filled with ham and cheese.

mysdianait Your use of the smiles's is superb. I think they called what you described as eggs benedict right?

I go through phases of eating toast. I will go months without having any and then I will find myself going out and buying loaves of bread specially so I can toast it. I like it with butter or margarine, not fussed which one but there has to be plenty spread on so it soaks into the bread, yum!
Occasionally I will put jam on, my favourite is raspberry seedless jam or apricot or lemon curd.

I didn't know they made seedless raspberry jam. I like raspberry flavor as well, and apricot sounds inticing as well! Very good way to eat toast, thanks for sharing and responding!

I hate toast that is over toasted im with you on slightly browned on both sides. I use butter and honey since honey is something they stay is better than sugary things like jelly.
