Anybody watched Gamer?

I'm not even sure whether it's out at other parts of the world, but here in Malaysia, Gamer opened to a good reception and it was a hit. Gerard Butler definitely did a good job.

The whole movie revolves around the future where gaming, internet and technology has become so advanced that people play other real people. Like for example, the lead character is an innocent convict sentenced to death row but he and other inmates gets put into this 'game' where they fight for their freedom. Kinda like Gladiator.

So the lead character was played by this super rich kid and he managed to get out of the system to confront the creator of the game. The ending was such a twist - I never really expected it.

At times the explosions are a bit loud though - its kinda hard to keep track of things when they're playing the game.

But, definitely two-thumbs up. What do you think?
