Paris, oh my gosh! |
|
When I hear Paris, It's like screaming clothes! Aside from that it's sooo nice! I've always dreamt of going there really. How unfortunate I am to not being able to go there yet, well if I would even have a chance to go there someday. I simply love its ambiance and all. I wish I was a European so that it was no problem going there. Have I mentioned that I love pasta too? And it's their delicacy! Oh how we're meant to be! hahaha!:)) I'm just daydreaming, and hallucinating, and wishing.... I mean who doesn't like it there? Or rather just even going there? I bet if I had a million bucks that would be my first destination. It would be a dream come true.:)

2. astonysh (1915) | 4 months ago | I have actually had two periods living there, and a further period working there last year (commuting every weekend from Frankfurt, Germany, where I now live). It is also the place where I was when I had my heart attack last year, so it has not always been good news.
It is an amazing place, with an amazing history, great food and drink, and a fascinating night life. At the same time it is very fast-paced, and people do not have a lot of time to talk - it is not that they are unfriendly, it is simply that time is in short supply (and really you had better speak French).
Jobs are though in short supply, well-paid jobs are very difficult to find (even if you are French), and the cost of living (particularly accommodation) is high, though not as bad as London.
Being there is a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone.

3. dknkyle (350) | 4 months ago | I've been to Paris twice and I can tell you that I really fell so in love with most of the places I visited that I wish I don't have to go home! I simply love Champ-Elysee, which is the street of high fashion and designers' fashion boutiques because I'm a Fashion Designer/Stylist. Also, I also love the romantic view from Effiel Tower, the gothic look of the cathedrel at Notre Dame, Moulin Rouge as well as the wonderful taste of French Crusine!

4. maximax8 (10753) | 4 months ago | I think that you should visit Europe one day. Paris is a really beautiful city and it is famous for its fashion. It is Italy that has great pasta dishes. It too is really lovely to explore. You might choose to travel around the different European countries by train. Good luck.

resssaaa (156) | 4 months ago | Thanks! Italy is really the first place I chose to visit other than other countries. I simply adore the sites and everything. I love its ambiance. It is so nice. My dad had gone there for business purposes. I saw them in his pictures and it were so awesome.

6. breepeace (2278) | 3 months ago | I might be a really small minority of people who remains relatively unimpressed with the city. It has some beautiful architecture, people and fashion, to be sure, but there are many other European cities that are far more beautiful than Paris, in my opinion. I think the city gets hyped up in many people's mind, as it did mine, and then you go and feel let down by the entire experience.
And while the french are known for their exquisite food, pasta actually originated in Italy.
