Brutal murders of Indians in Australia  

our indian government is not able to force the australian government in these matters. our government behaves as coward in international cases like these.
But Australian government should take steps on their own to stop these injustice against indians in australia.

It is hard to explain why these attacks are happening. We are in India and we don't know the situation in that country, Australian government agreed that some attacks were related racialism and the convicts will be punished. Some citiziens are trouble makers and they know only about viloence. They take drugs, alcohol,etc and under its influence they do not know what they are doing. When they find any person who is weak or alone, they will attack that person. Why only Indians you might be asking? It might be due to jealousy or professional jealousy might be other cause.. Many are reasons but Australian government have to take lot of steps to protect the Indians also. But I want to ask you one question, does Indian government giving same security to the foreigners who are coming to India. I do not think so, many girls are raped by some rich brats of India in goa beaches. One swedish lady was raped in car parking place by 3 youth in Delhi. So, many crimes are happening in India as well, are Indian government providing security for those innocent girls. No.. Like this police cannot protect every Indian in Australia as well, it is the duty of person to not take risk by going out late in nights to pubs and other places.. Stay safe and never risk their lives by roaming alone in the nights..

The number of Indians is increasing there day by day.. may be its insecurity of the people there or annoyed with that much population of Indians there.. its the same thing like what people witnessed in India too. If you remember not far back what was the situation in maharashtra, so we need to look at ourselves too before pointing fingers towards other nations. And ya Indians there in Australia should be provided full security and if they don't want more Indians there simply decrease the number of visas they allot to Indians if they are not able to provide security.

It is quite scary. But i think that it is only the felling of insecurity of local people as large number of Indians are prefer over local ones in many jobs and tasks.But they have to understand that it is indirectly harsh for them as Indian people are very good source of money for them. I think that always a smile rule of Indian govt. is very uneffective.

Indian government doesn't bother much about these international racialism, the government and media are bend more one serial gossips and snooping into the life of celebrities instead of tackling with these kind of problems.

The media are more concerned on what is happening on the daily TV soaps and sash ,bahu ka jagra rather then showing the real news which needs to be conveyed to the people and the government as always is sleeping.

hey raj_ka I have gone through your topic and really it is a matter of great concern for Indian. I fully support the view expressed one of our friend vipinl . Obviously due to increase in indian population at australia , the australian feel insecure in their own home land. Maximum Indian students are going abroad like UK Australia and other european countries for higher education and after completion of their education they are joining in the MNC and as a result of which they are attacking Indians and killing so as to implement a fear psychosis in the mind of Indian. It is a matter of great concern and I think Govt of India must take immediate steps to curb such attacks and vandalism in consultation their australian counterparts. On the other hand australian govt must ensure proper protection and prove appropriate security measures for indian students and indian citizen otherwise it will affect bilateral issues and talks.

I just had to reply to this. I am Australian and as most Australians I come from another country. So to say that Australia is racist is to say that we are killing each other every day because of our differences and yet we dont and we live in perfect harmony. The atacts are happening in places where rent is low and with that people like drug users, alchoholics and so on can afford to live but also students can afford to live and Indians happen to be student living in such places. From what I can see and read the attacks on Indians happen once every few weeks in that same period 100 more happen on non indians so to say that people target Indians is wrong. I live in a place where half my neighbours are indian in fact in my sons class at school only 4 are "white". If I was racist I would pull my son out of that class into another where there is more "whites". And Australian dont feel that Indians are of any threat or we would not let them come in the first place. I dont see what more can we do. Give them free acomodation in the best towns or assign a policeman to every indian??? Now I live you to read this while I go to my neighbours to drop off a package that I picked up from the post man because they were not home, oh yes they are From India by the way.
