Frugal birthday gifts ideas for my son who will be 20  | |  Hi all! Money is a little tight for us right now so I am trying to think of something nice to get my son for his birthday next week. He will be 20 and is into computers (going to tech school for that), cars (he has a camaro), & movies. He likes to buy lottery tickets once in awhile so I thought I would maybe buy him 2 - one for each of the 10 years of his life. But I would really like to give him something fun as he has been sick for the last 5 years of his life when he got dx with a disease.
Any good ideas out there. Thank you in advance:).

I gave my daughter a $50 gift card to Starbucks one year for christmas as she loves it, just can't afford it but every now and then and she was bouncing off the walls with excitement (and she hadn't had any coffee!) and the thought that now she can go get some and doesn't have to worry about paying for it. Or tickets to a movie theater. A gift care to a computer store to buy whatever he wants. My kids don't want to do gift for christmas as they don't know what to get for the adults and every one has what htey need and our incomes are not high enough to buy much more than maybe $50 per person... and that is streching it. So we decided to just skip adult gifts and do just for the kids at chrstmas and b-day gifts for adults during the year... as they are spread out a bit more than all at christmas time. Good luck on your choice!
Oh, if he likes cameros... maybe find a camero speciality store or catalog and give him a gift card for there to buy something special or out of hte ordinary for his car.
