Does your Country have easy Internet Access?  | |  I notice some Mylotters mention the difficulty it is to stay online. Living on the East Coast of the USA, with high-speed internet available in most locations, the connection is usually stable.
Does your country have a lot of internet providers, or just a few? Are there a lot of people on the internet in your country, or only those with good paying jobs. The internet is so much a part of daily life to most Americans it's difficult to think of people around the world without it. But the reality is, I'm sure, Americans no longer consider the internet unique and just take it all for granted.
Prior to the internet and PC connections, people would contact others throughout the world with shortwave radio. People seldom hear about shortwave in the U.S. but in other countries I think it is still a vital part of emergencies. I am very happy to be able to communicate with people of all countries, and of all ages.

| | | 2. hehe88 (51) | 3 months ago |  I am from Singapore. Basically, my country has 4-5 internet providers. Internet service is considered quite affordable in my country. We even have a service called wireless@SG where people can surf the internet at certain hotspots with their laptops for free.

| | | 3. smithid (65) | 3 months ago |  Nigeria is still developing and as such internet is still like a big deal and it hasn't gotten to the state of affordability for all like you mentioned about hotspots. There are areas like that though limited and the service offered for now is still not on the high speed side, so you can imagine how watching videos online will look like. You know sometimes the whole thing pisses me off.
Well, we have to make do what we have or leave for another country......
