Is anybody ready for the holidays? They are coming up fast. Does anyone have all there shopping done or are you just beginning to shop for your family? I have mine almost done for my family. I try to get Christmas presents way a head of time so I won't have to shop in the busy stores when it becomes a mad house.

I am always ready for the holidays but not in spending LOL. Before Christmas which is the most important holiday, there is a local festival that runs for 2 weeks, I am still looking forward to halloween, then all saints and allsouls day. then there's a local fiesta where it's also a holiday two days really.
Christmas shopping would be done later when the budget is okay.

I understand you there when it comes down to spending. Lots of money comes out of our pockets for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We have a fall festival going on here real soon that I want to go to. More money spent lol. I don't know if my daughter wants to go trick or treating this year or pass out candy. She hasn't made up her mind yet. It can get very hard for me because I have 3 birthdays November,December and January. That is when my daughters were born so I have a lot coming out of my pocket from now until then.

I am so excited because this Friday evening begins Rosh Hashana. It is my favorite holiday of the year. While I also do Christmas, my absolute favorite celebrations is the Jewish days in the fall. We have so many nice family memories over the years from celebrating them.

I have never heard of Rosh Hashana before. That would very nice in the fall. I love the fall and its many different colors. I wish we could keep the falls colors all year round. But it don't happen that way. Me and my family have a lot of good memories when it comes down to Christmas. Christmas eve the whole family gets together and has a nice big meal and sits and talks and opens gifts. And we take many pictures.
