As far as I know yes. It will usually underline something in red if it's incorrect. You can right click it, or is it left click and it will give you the spelling or if there is something wrong in grammar. Make sure your feature is turned on.

Ya it has spell check option if you wish to check whether its there or not then type some wrong spell then it will show you red line under the word in this way it allows spell checks. Another feature that is available in this is it provides you with various synonyms which allow to insert in your word file. It is really cool with great features.
