Here's the thing, I have been living in my apartment complex for 1 year and 9 months now and have never had any problems. And now that new people have moved in, it seems like everyone is getting robbed. To be honest about it I think it was someone in this building that we know. I mean I am home every day and the one day that I leave we get robbed? Come on now. I mean the robbers took our TV which is a 42 inch and everyone except us were home and you are telling me that no one saw anything? They had time to stand outside of our door for hours and try to break the locks and even kicked in the door and you're telling me that no one, not even the people across the hall heard or saw anything? I am really getting sick and tired of those that don't want to work for what they have. I mean I am a mother of 2 under the age of 15 months and I work hard for everything I have and in just an instance everything is taken from me. How wrong is that? I have come to the point where I don't even want to leave the house now. Does anyone out there understand what I mean? Write me back and let me know what your take is on this.

I know how you feel to have worked for everything you've got and then it all gets taken away instantly. Its very unfair and cruel. We all now theres people out there like that and neighbours quite often don't say anything because they don't want trouble themselves. We liked where we live when we first moved in, we had relatively no problems at all. Since a few new people have moved in we are having problems with those households, but with no one else wanting to stick up for themselves due to fear of being targeted themselves nothing gets done about it by the council. I know what you mean and its very frustrating too.

It's very possible that somebody in your complex was watching and waiting until you left. And it' certainly a reasonable assumption that it might be the new people It's an awful feeling having your place broken into and your things stolen. What did the police say?

I know the feeling, it makes you so mad and irate. Maybe you should consider moving if necessary because once they noticed it can be done and get away with it, they might do it again and again. Unless someone who knows about those people cares enough for you and the neighborhood and let everyone aware of who to watch out for. Just remember, it's only goods, they can be recovered one way or the other, most important is that you and your young ones are fine.

Hi. pakoulo. Welcome to myLot! It has to be someone that lives near this building. They watch any and everything that you may do. They know just exactly what is going on. I would do an incident report to the local police. They need to find out whom is responsible for robbing in this apartment complex. The manager may want to consider getting cameras installed as well. Be careful! If someone can steal this much there is no telling what else they may steal when they can get another chance to.
