Nick naming people

During your school days or college days, have you ever nicknamed your fellow students or teachers or lecturers? We do and we call them in that name only and have fun in that but we do not intend to hurt or make fun of anyone. It is just for fun and we too will be nicknamed by our friends.

yes, we used to do it, but now times have changed and our younger generation is so much upto it that they have broken all the records of doing things like that.
I think teachers and professors should be respected from the heart but the immoral manners are increasing day by day.

Yes, when we were in school we also had the experience, nick named other students or being nick named. Sometimes it was fun, sometime it was not. I hate the nick name that insulted people. I had a classmate, who had teeth problem, some naughty boys gave her a nick name that made her very upset, so she started to have mask on her face. It was a very painful experience to her, also in my memory. I felt sympathy with her. Many years passed I still could not forget her.

We used to nickname in such a manner that the person to whom we nicknamed even if he knows he feel happy and laughs. For ex. we like our typewriting master very much, so we nicknamed him FAVOURITE. Other student who is very beautiful, we call him HERO. he knows it but he did not mind. My friend who has very thick and long hair, We call her COBRA and she feels proud of her hair and simply laughs if we call her cobra, she reciprocates. in this way we have fun among our friends circle or people who are very close to us and fondly remembered by our nicknames.

There were two sisters in our school, one was fat and the other thin and we nick named them as laurel and hardy. One boy was always bending this side that side and making faces and he was charlie chaplin.

Yes. It is fun to nickname others so long as they take it in a sportive manner
