Will you believe, if someone says Clixsense is owned by scammers?

Of course. And it can go either way. People can start scamming (legit to scam) and people can stop scamming (scam to legit). It's all a matter of whether they pay and how likely it is that they will continue to pay.

the possibility exists. they can be scamsters at some time in the past and now got bored with it and must have turned to legitimate biz. online biz is filled with scamsters. for every 1 legitimate there are 99 scamsters. so lets be on our guard and leave nothing to chance.

An investigation site that I trust very much has investigated clixsense thoroughly and say it is a Trusted site. Trusted is their highest rank too, just above legit.

So like the guy above me said, people who were owners of scam sites could indeed run a legit site. For there are many reason sites go 'scam'. Sometimes because they are outright scammers and just set out to steal peoples money. Othertimes they just fall on hard times, are unable to pay their members promptly and get snowballed as 'scams'. A call of SCAM can spread like wildfire and quickly kill a site.

Clixsense has only 2 downfalls that i know of:

1. Doesnt have a forum
2. Pays with Checks and not paypal/alertpay.

But i dont think its a scam. at least not yet.

i just join about a week or 2 ago but i play it the way every1 that are new needs to do just a few so if it a scam i dont lose anything

The reason why I haven't joined clixsense is because of how they pay. I am finding it so easy to use payment processors. If I had joined and it is legit, I would have to find out how I go about getting a check cashed when it is not in my own currency. Too much of a hassle for me.

But if some one does say that the site is owned by scammers and have proof, then I may believe them.

Are you on this site now? Are they scamming? You know they can scam half the time and then play legitimate for the other half to attract players to come on. Dangerous site if they have a bad record before. I would not touch it.

Are you currently registered there? Did you pay any money to subscribe. Did they not pay for participation? If the answer to all these three questions are in the positive, it is likely a site to scam. Beware!

It's absolutely true -- Clixsense is owned by the former owners of StormPay. In fact, that's the reason I won't ever upgrade my membership there. However, Clixsense has a good reputation as far as PTCs go so I do click there. They pay, but there are limits to how far I'll trust them because of their disreputable past. I think they've genuinely tried to go legit, but who knows if they'll be able to stay honest indefinitely.

Whatever they did in the past, must be in the past. Clixsense is anything but a scam site. They pay on time, every time and this time around, they seem to have a winning business model. They offer anywhere from 20-40+ ads each day, and these ads load from around 8am (est) to about 9:30pm...so it's a great site for people all over the world.
I've been paid several times, and upgrading to the premium membership was the smartest thing I could have done on the site. They gave me 487 ads to click on upon upgrading and I immediately added more than $5.25 to my account with those additional ads, plus as a premier, I can reach payout every other month because I usually earn between $2-$3 each week with all the ads they offer.
I have also used my earnings to advertise on the site, and have done very well with my advertising results. So the site seems to be working for those that use PTC and advertisers alike.
Whatever the they were in the past, they are as close to 100% legit as any online money-making site can be.

Well, most of the time these ptcs are always linked to a scammer one way or another, usually. However, as some of you know, bux.gs is one of the legit ones still running, and the admin ran scam sites before like b-u-x.net, and others, but is paying its members this time. Probably because he is making money without the need to scam, as that is the goal of all people, making a profit.
