Where would be a good place to travel?  | |  I'll probably have to wait another year and a half to go anywhere, but this gives me plenty of time to think of where I'd like to go. However there are various locations, but I do not believe I'll be able to see them all at once. I could of course go see more of my own country the US or more of my fathers, Canada. I do however wish to visit areas in Europe and South America, etc. I just don't know a whole lot about most of them. As I'm learning Spanish in College, perhaps a Spanish speaking country and maybe one other place to begin with.
Any suggestions, maybe they have interesting parks, museums that you might know about?

Rome, Italy
Barcelona, Spain
Paris, France
London, UK
They are all amazing cities. Each of them haves their own special qualities.
Search on the internet what you can visit.

If I was you I would visit Colombia to see Cartagena de Indies. There are some lovely countries in Europe. Maybe you could begin with Spain and pop over to Portugal as well or you could combine Spain with France and Italy. If you visit Spain you might like to see Barcelona, Madrid, Seville and Granada. Good luck deciding where you will travel to.

| | | 4. astonysh (1824) | 3 months ago |  Well there is not much Spanish spoken anywhere on that continent, but if you want something that is really eye-opening, there are a whole range of possibilities in Asia.
All of the places that I have personally seen there (India, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia) offer a rich cultural experience, and offer all sorts of sightseeing experiences. And the food is really quite different (unless you insist on eating at the standard international food chains).
I am sure that some other correspondents on MyLot can give you some hints on what to see in the Philippines, which again should be an interesting new experience.
And if you can afford it (I have never been, but it remains an ambition) Japan should be a must-see!

For example I love Dogs, animals, wildlife and I love mountians and lakes, so for me I am saving and planning for a trip to Alaska.
I am planning and saving for this trip, I am planning on photographing tons of mountians, I am planning on going whale watching and also going on several hikes and trips where I will be able to see some wild life. But the ulitimate part of the trip I am planning is I will be spending a day in a dog sled camp, learning how they train the dogs going on a short sled run and basically learning everything about life in a dog sled camp
