Are they serious: $1 for a car.

Seriously this morning my husband and I were watching this informercial about this car lot that was trying to get rid of some cars and they had a sale going on. So my husband and I sat and watched it for awhile because they were showing off cars that could be available for us to buy and the prices. And we were also listening to what they were saying, because obviously anyone would qualify to get a car from them no matter if you had good credit or bad credit. So anyways, while we were listening, they showed us a car through the commercial that stated that literally the car was only $1 in US dollars. No way, my husband and I got all excited. Because we need a new car and of course we had a dollar. But then we figured there must be some catch or something. Or maybe someone had already gotten the car. So later on after the commercial was over my husband was like I am going to call them and see if that dollar car is still available and we will go check it out. So he calls up and says do you have that dollar car still available. The car sales person did state that they had it still available and then my husband was like are there any other stipulations and what needs to be done. Well needless to say the car sales man told him everything that needed to be done. Lol, there's tax, something that they fail to tell you in the commercial. When my husband hung up and told me never mind. I was like why let's go pick it up. My husband was like because we have to pay five dollars for it. I was like oh five dollars we have that lol. He was like nope $500 for sales tax. Lol, omg are they serious. First of all that's a lot of tax and then its really not $1 right. Those liars lol. I'm sure there were a lot of people that were calling or stopping by to get the $1 car. Maybe it was just a $1 to put down and drive off the lot. Probably not. Man it would have been so nice to say that we bought a car for a $1. But while I was watching that commercial, I was like there has to be a catch or something seriously wrong with the car or something to happen to it in the future in order for it to cost that much. Oh well, I guess I can only dream. Lol.
