In bathing, can you tolerate cold water(early morning)?? |
|
Hello, mylotter. When you wake up early in the morning and have to take a bath right away, can you tolerate the natural coldness that coming out in your faucet or shower? Or water temperature is not a problem because you do have a water heater? Before when we often stay in the farm taking a bath is always our problem in the morning, me and my mom always argue in terms of taking a bath so early. (kids don't like it)and sometimes,I admit, until now I don't like doing it so early like old fellows usually do. I usually chill when I do that. How about you? Love to hear your funny experience.

3. shia88 (826) | 3 months ago | Hi Simonelee,
I seldom use warm water for bathing in the morning, I will directly use tap water.NO water heater in my 2nd floor bathroom. So far, I still can stand it with the coldness. After I brush my teeth and gets ready breakfast for myself and my husband, I will get a bath with cold water. It makes me feel fresher and no more sleepy for me.
I can have 3 times bath a day during hot weather. First is in the morning. Then after settle my son's breakfast+ bath + doing some house chores, I will get another bath again. And late afternoon around 6pm, I will have my last bath. I like to keep my body clean!! Only bathing can make me look fresher throughout the day!!

5. aseretdd (6843) | 3 months ago | When i was still a teacher it was so difficult for me to wake up very early in the morning... so i use cold water when taking a bath because that would surely energize me... if i use warm water... that would just make me more sleepy...
Now that i don't need to wake up very early to go to work... i still don't use warm water because the temperature is already hot when i wake up... and the best way to feel fresh is to use cold water...

6. danitykane (857) | 3 months ago | Cold water for bathing is okay with me specially for hot summer days. Well I did bathe with cold waters too when i was still a kid. Because here in our country we don't usually use heater that is due to our weather. But right now we are experiencing cold weather its raining every now and then so I don't like cold waters for bathing. LOL. But I might still take a shower with it because I like to feel the chill and freeze a little sometimes.:)

7. nrtan2000 (1019) | 3 months ago | I also dont like cold bath in the morning but i think i would be ok with warm water because we also have heaters in our shower. I think the reason why lots of people dont like taking cold bath in the morning after waking up is because our body temperature when we wake up is still warm and our body has to adjust to the sudden change of cold temperature of the shower which usually causes my heart to beat faster and i would shiver from the coldness of the shower and i would usually catch a cold. hehe. I actually heard from some people that its not healthy having cold showers in the morning after waking up although im not sure of the reason why they said so.

10. involved62 (629) | 3 months ago | Depends on how cold the water is, if it's nearly freezing outside, then your water temperature might be 10 degrees (without a heater) - that is icy. I cannot even wash my hands for a long time with this water temperature. 20 degrees is bearable but for this it will really be a quickie for me. No lingering in the shower and definitely not a bath (might be good for swimming since you are moving...).
