I guess I am addicted to profiles

I read posts here and visit many profiles every day. As you say, it is through the posts that we get to know other Lotters and their profile says so much about them if you can read between the lines.

I have many profiles bookarked too as there are some that I visit more often than others.

Yes therehave been a few times I read someones discussion and enjoyedthe discussions as well as the comments to the responses so much that I DID check the profile and looked at other discussions and responses of theirs and answered some of those as well. Then I will request the friend list.

well i do visit profiles of lotters who i find interesting and have a look at the discussions they have started, it interests me to know more about the person who is there... the sort of discussions they start lets you know something about them... there are many interesting people here... i also like to see how long they have been here and i don't know why but i also like to see the number of times people have visited their profiles... there is something interesting in it.... well have a nice day icesmile!

For me it might only take one comment from a user for me to know that they are a fun and contributing member of the community, and that it would be great to interact with them on the boards. Sometimes I add and sometimes I wait and read them some more and hope that they will send me a FR,... I often think I'm not worthy

Oh most definately. Whenever i find someone who posts interesting topics or responses i will always check out their page, see what other thigns they have been writing, maybe even "mylot stalk" some of their conversations LoL....if i find that i have lots of similar veiws or interests, or just find that they tend to respond to a lot of the same discussions that perk my interests, i will send a friend request..as this is the easiest way to get updates about what they are up to on here, and clue me into some intersting conversations that i might not find on my own.

I also find that this is a good way of broadening my interests lists. There are so many thousands of intersts it seems, and it is hard to know waht ones are actually active and used often, but when i join in conversations that i find through people profiles, i often find lots of interests to add to my list that i didn't even know were out there and that people were talking about!

I have read a profile before because a person's comment and requested them for friendship based on their interesting response or discussions. I think that it's part of what makes myLot such a great place is all the different people and the quality of people here.

I have answered alot of the peoples discussions here on Mylot as i find that i can answer their discussions alot easier i do answer a lot of other peoples discussions as well as the friends i have here i find there are lots of interesting people on her with lots of very different topics.

Hello icesmile,when i found some interesting comment or discussion make by someone else,i will definitely check their profile to know this person.I will first see their age and country,then i will check for the discussion that they started and replied.By doing this,i also found some more interesting discussion to post as well which is very good to me:)

lol when i feel the discussions are good and appealing i go to see the profile just to check the age and place because here we find people of all sexes and all age groups from all places of the world

dear ice,
most often that is the reason how i get to add a friend on the list. if i get impressed about the reply in one topic i add the friend to my list.
