That's great! I think that if it's the first time that you will try to make your own website, you should give webs.com a try. It's free and it's user-friendly too. It's really easy to create and they have a wide variety of premade templates that you can choose from.

It is very easy to start a new website, but first you must decide on what website you want to start on. After you have decided the topic of you website the next decision is whether you will be hosting your website through a web hosting service, which is paid, or you will be hosting on a free web host. There are number of free hosts and you can easily search them on the internet. If you are going to start a blog you will have to install wordpress or use ready to use blogging hosts like blogger.com. Your website should have a good content which will translate into traffic and then your advertisements will start getting revenue. You can place advertises using google adsense. I am currently having two websites, one is paid hosted, www.thesevencolors.com and the other is free hosted with a domain name (www.treasurefollower.com). Note that you cannot get a free domain name anywhere.

You can actually start your website with free hosting domain but not suggested. Frankly speaking, if you are serious on making your own website, it is better to purchase your own hosting and domain, the cost is very cheap nowadays. My hosting and domain is only cost about USD70 per year. If you are really work out on your website, you can easily earn 10 times more than your hosting and domain cost

Cheapest i've seen was $15 for a year of domain hosting/webhosting(forumotion.com..and yes, you can do more then just forum hosting with it). Godaddy is the 2nd cheapest it seems but it is a bit pricey and a lot of the features most people don't use.

You could maybe consider http://www.101webhosting.com/?? It has free webhosting/free domain but you won't get .com or anything like that(Which is on my opinion a good one to have if you want to rank good in anywhere like google if you planned to earn off of advertising). I think they might spam ya' with ads though on your site haha, it's best just to shell out the $10-$15 or so for forumotion(or another like it). Get your own domain n' etc(A .com or whatever, really.). It's fairly easy to play around with, too.

In the end, I suppose it really depends on what your site is about & what you need for it.

i would love to create a website too. i have plans of promoting a product but it's so hard for me cause im not a graduate of any computer course. promoting or advertising is also hard for me coz im not a graduate of any business course. haha. everything is hard for me. but i would like to know your situation and progress for like you i also aspire to earn money from from the net. gudluck to you.
