Converting data into information is called data processing. Data which means unorganized facts includes words, numbers, images, and sounds. The computer manipulates and process data to create information. Information is data that is organized has meaning and useful. Such as reports, letters, receipt etc. So the data entered into a computer is called input and after processing the produced result is called output. And the area the processed result is stored called storage. So the date processing cycle means the cycle of input, process, output, and storage.
